Without question, Envy is the perfect person to host the event. As an avid car collector, Envy boasts an estimated 30 cars in his collection. Far from a collector who only buys what’s trending, Envy has meticulously built a multi-million dollar fleet that reflects the timeline of his career. Here are some of DJ Envy’s favorite cars.
2021 Ford GT
Of all of his vehicles, Envy really loves his 2021 Ford GT, which he describes as his “favorite modern supercar.” Acquiring his prized vehicle was not easy. Along with the high price tag of $695,000, Ford produced only about 1,300 of these bespoke vehicles. To be considered, Envy was required by Ford to submit a video application explaining why he deserved one of the limited vehicles. Envy’s GT is a street-legal race car pushing 647 horsepower out of a twin-turbo V6, and it sits as a centerpiece of his modern collection valued at $1.3 Million
1988 E30 M3
Another jewel of Envy’s collection is his 1988 BMW E30 M3, and it was built to last. Envy has owned the vehicle for more than ten years and pledged that he will never sell it, especially since his daughter has already claimed it. It’s not just a car; it’s a legendary piece of automotive history that perfectly captures the spirit of late-’80s street culture and the golden era of hip-hop, when car lovers aspired to drive a “Beamer.”
2000 Mercedes-Benz G 500 Cabriolet
Envy’s 2000 Mercedes-Benz G 500 Cabriolet is a rare, short-wheelbase, two-door convertible G-Wagon that comes with a backstory involving Lil Kim. After watching the ‘Queen Bee” and her crew pull up to New York clubs in the early aughts with their G-Wagons, Envy knew he had to get one for himself. Eventually, he tracked one down and imported one of the rare, Europe-only convertible models himself. Featuring slick, automatic folding step-up bars, this eye-catching SUV is always a show-stopper.
2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe
Formerly owned by 50 Cent, Envy purchased the 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe from the legendary rapper and fellow Queens native. Since he brought the ultimate luxury sedan, the vehicle has gone through several transformations. It’s been changed from its original white to gray, to deep red, and eventually back to clean white. While the vehicle is massive in size at 220.8 inches long, 74.8 inches wide, and 62.7 inches tall, Envy still takes it out regularly and keeps it pristine for showcases.
2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale
In the exotics category, Envy is the proud owner of a 2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale. When it comes to pure modern performance, his white SF90 Stradale takes the cake. A plug-in hybrid supercar packing a twin-turbo V8 alongside three electric motors, it pumps out an incredible 986 horsepower and is the essence of peak Italian engineering.
