Billionaire investor Robert F. Smith expanded his luxury real estate portfolio in 2020 by purchasing two properties in North Palm Beach, Florida, for a combined $48.19 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The acquisition included an oceanfront mansion and a second home across the street, giving Smith additional space in one of South Florida’s most exclusive communities.

The larger estate features resort-style amenities, including multiple bedrooms, entertainment spaces, a gym and private outdoor areas overlooking the ocean. The purchase further highlighted Smith’s growing collection of high-end properties across the country.

Will Smith and Jada Pickett-Smith – $42 Million

In 2022, film and media executive Byron Allen made history after purchasing one of the most expensive homes ever acquired by a Black American. Allen bought a stunning Malibu estate in Paradise Cove, California, for $100 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 11,000-square-foot oceanfront property offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and features a collection of luxury amenities, including two guest suites, a private home theater and a tennis court.

Dr. Dre – $40 Million

Former San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker is looking for a new owner for his sprawling Texas estate, which was listed for $16.6 million. In 2024, Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, added a Beverly Hills mansion to their real estate portfolio, according to Realtor.com. Despite his prison sentence and other legal issues, Sean “Diddy” Combs remains the owner of his Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles. The property was listed for $61 million last year, but the estate has yet to find a buyer amid the intense public attention surrounding the music mogul’s legal situation, according to Realtor.com.

The mansion was one of two Combs properties searched by federal authorities in 2024. Spanning an impressive layout, the home features luxury amenities including a 35-seat movie theater, a resort-style grotto pool, a traditional pizza oven and a guesthouse complete with a recording studio. The estate remains one of the most notable celebrity homes in Los Angeles.

LeBron James is taking luxury living to another level with plans for a new Beverly Hills estate. After purchasing the property for $37 million in 2020, the NBA superstar reportedly demolished the existing mansion to make room for a larger, custom-designed residence, according to the New York Post.

Tiger Woods – $80 Million

In 2006, golf icon Tiger Woods purchased a sprawling 12-acre property on Jupiter Island, Florida, with plans to transform it into his ultimate dream home. Rather than renovate the existing residence, Woods tore it down and built a custom estate valued at approximately $80 million, according to HELLO! Magazine.

After four years of construction, the 9,700-square-foot mansion was completed with luxury features including a private theater, an oxygen therapy room, and a state-of-the-art gym. The timing of the project’s completion was notable, as it coincided with the year Woods and his then-wife separated following his highly publicized infidelity scandal.
