The Strange Mystery Behind Kelly Price and Why Her Fans Are Getting Weirded Out

In news that can only be described as “Girl, what?” Kelly Price is making headlines again. This time around, she’s causing her fans to feel skeptical, freaked out, and generally confused about what’s really going on with her.

To be fair, the famed gospel singer has kept a relatively low profile for a few months now, save for the internet back-and-forth she had with Black women over their “nasty” behavior in September 2025. Now, her focus is on one woman whom she claims is causing her and her family harm. We’ll break it down for you, but beware: the details of what she’s alleging almost sound too crazy to be true.

In a since-expired Instagram Live session, Price revealed that she’s been dealing with an alleged woman stalker named “Whitney” for the last three years. This person has been trying to look like Price, mess with her electronics and various members of her family. Now, Price is fed up with her antics and has decided to air her grievances online.

“B*tches out here is crazy! It’s a whole hoe out here…this girl done went out here and had plastic surgery, built a b*tch body…and stop buying dollar store wigs to look like me. She been stalking me for three years, we in federal court. What’s happening next, you wanna play?” Price began.

She went on to allege that the woman cloned her phone to get her personal information, locked her out of her computer, sent her friend to the hospital, tried to kill her personal driver, did witchcraft on her, created an OnlyFans page in her name, tried to “destiny swap” with her, and more. Price also claimed that the woman’s daughter tried to somehow sleep with her husband, though she didn’t specify the timeline for any of her accusations. However, she did make it clear that she was completely over what she’s been experiencing before dishing out a thinly veiled threat to the woman.

“Show up in the city of Atlanta tomorrow, you gon’ have a problem. My gun is registered. God kicking that behind, you ain’t got that much longer to live,” Price said.

Price later said that the authorities were aware of this alleged stalker but told her that they couldn’t do anything about it unless and until something actually happens to her. The singer further explained that she uses the “word of God” and the Bible to fight “warfare,” adding that God was a God of war and a God of peace.

“I do hold my peace and let the Lord fight my battles, but this has been three years too long,” she added.

While all of this is quite literally a lot to take in, for Price’s fans, this is just another in a series of strange ordeals that have surrounded her in the last few years alone. In 2021, she made headlines after “disappearing” from the public and subsequently became the focus of a missing persons report in Atlanta. Thankfully, she later came out and revealed that she’d caught COVID-19 and just opted to recover from the disease in isolation and away from the public eye.

However, with this latest viral video, the singer’s fans and followers can’t help but question what Price’s deal is and feel like her comments are too strange to be taken seriously.

“Lord it’s something every year with Kelly,” said one user on X/Twitter.

“lmfao Kelly Cherelle Price is always in some SH*T. Was it now, Drama Mama?!” said another.

“I think Sis. Kelly Price going through some type of spiritual psychosis but imma hush and just watch,” one other user wrote.

Added another: “Kelly Price has been funny money and strange change for a long time. 2013 was the first time we saw it clear. And since then, she been showing the crack of her ass. She’s one of the greatest vocalists of all time. But, she & Kim Burrell? Nasty, mean spirited ‘Christians.’”

“This sounds like a good Lifetime movie,” one other person noted.

One other person wrote, “Kelly always got some weird sh*t going on…where was you at when you disappeared that one time? We ain’t forget.”
