The Internet is in Love With Rihanna’s Heartwarming Interaction With a Fan With Cancer

Rihanna is proving once again that she’s a woman for the people, thanks to a now-viral interaction with a fan that is sure to be the most encouraging and heartwarming thing you’ll see all day!

The moment took place while the “Kiss It Better” singer was out shopping at a Los Angeles grocery store during the latest episode of “Jason Lee Unlocked.” While checking out flowers and various items for a cookout, she ran into an elderly white woman who recognized her and asked for a picture.

“I look terrible,” the woman said before sharing that she was living with cancer and usually rocks a wig whenever she steps out. “Everyone knows me, I don’t have my wig on. Thanks. And your name’s Robyn, like mine….Big fan. I’m a very big fan.”

“You don’t look terrible,” Rihanna quickly responded before snapping up a pic.

Moments later, the woman showed RihRih a picture of how she normally steps out.

“Actually, this is what I look like with my wig on. You’re gonna say, ‘Yeah, you’re a true Robyn,’” the woman said.

That’s when Rihanna decided to pour even more into the stranger and compliment her on her natural beauty.

“You know what I live for? A good hairline, honey! This is what I like to see. Anytime you meet anybody, don’t do that sh*t. Don’t do that, you’re fire just like that,” Rih said.

In a hilarious twist, the woman then asked if she could quote the Grammy-nominated singer, to which Rih responded: “Hell yeah. Verbatim!”

This marks the second time this year Rihanna has decided to shower someone with love. As we told you in May, while walking the red carpet at the Met Gala, she stopped briefly for questions with “TODAY Show” cohost Sheinelle Jones. Instead of getting into a standard interview, the “ANTI” singer decided to flip the script and ask Jones how her day was going, putting the focus on her. She then decided to show the daytime TV host, who’s had a tumultuous personal year, some love in the sweetest way.

“Well, you deserve to be poured into, as well. It’s not all about giving in to everybody. You deserve to be poured into, and you’re beautiful. You’re a Black journalist. And I respect you. I love you for this. And, by the way, your outfit is f*cking fire,” the singer said at the time before walking away.

We always knew Rihanna was the people’s champ and hella relatable (despite her superstar status), but it’s always nice to see her in her element in this way! Fans can’t get enough of the interaction.

“They can never make me hate Riii,” one user said on TikTok.

“Rih is a girls girl through and through,” wrote another.

One other person shared a similar instance, writing, “Saw Rihanna in Barbados years ago. This isn’t an act for the cameras. She is so down to earth and laid back, never forgot where she came from. She is a queen.”

Added another: “The fact that Rihanna has so much compassion makes me love her even more.”
