Surprising New Development in Mary Mary Singer Tina Campbell’s Divorce

In May, we told you that Glendon “Teddy’ Campbell filed for divorce from Tina Campbell, one-half of the popular gospel singing duo Mary Mary. Now, as their proceedings play out, we’re learning a few new details, and it’s not a pretty picture.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Tina’s financial status has now been put on blast and appears to show that she brings in far less than her soon-to-be ex-husband (whom she’d been married to for almost 30 years). Even though the “God In Me” singer has been in the music business for decades, amassed multiple awards, and has consistently proven to be a leader in the genre, the payout for it all doesn’t reflect that.

In fact, the records show that the “Shackles” singer reportedly earns a little less than $5,000 per month and works only about 20 hours a week. Glendon, on the other hand, pulls in $7,500 as a drummer. Tina’s low funds, she argued in the docs, present a major problem as her monthly expenses far exceed what she’s bringing in.

To be specific, some of those expenses include: $4,100 for rent, $266 in healthcare costs, $1,800 for groceries, $2,200 for utilities, $100 for laundry and cleaning, $1,308 on car expenses, and more. When you add it all together, she’s spending nearly $12,000 each month. You see the major gap here, right?

Although Glendon was the one who filed for divorce back in April 2026, citing irreconcilable differences, Tina isn’t taking it without making a few moves of her own. She’s also asking the court to deny her ex’s right to collect spousal support and is petitioning for primary physical and legal custody of their two minor children, Santana Campbell and Glendon Theodore Campbell II. Tina and Glendon also share two adult daughters.

The couple has had more than their fair share of ups and downs over the years, specifically as it relates to Glendon’s infidelity, as fans of their 2012 WE tv docuseries, “Mary, Mary,” will remember. But since the two reportedly have no debts or assets to divide, here’s hoping the two can have a swift and amicable split soon.
