Street Style: What Black People Are Wearing at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week style is as much about what you see on the streets as what goes down the runway. This week, Black editors, designers, models and fashion insiders have turned the sidewalks into a moving showcase of personal style, mixing sharp tailoring, statement accessories, unexpected layers and effortless Parisian attitude. While we’re keeping an eye on the designers’ collections, here’s a look at the street-style moments that caught our eye so far during Paris Fashion Week 2026.

Some people just know how to make getting dressed look easy. The Paris streets were full of relaxed tailoring, simple layers and those little details that make an outfit feel completely put together.

Dapper Meets Streetwear

Who says a sharp tie has to be serious? This season, classic menswear got mixed up with sneakers, oversized pieces and streetwear staples. The result was polished without being too buttoned-up.

Neutral Fall Tones Take Center Stage

This fall, fashion is all about the basics – in the best way. Beautiful shades of brown, cream, gray, camel and black filled the streets, proving you don’t need a loud color to make an outfit stand out.

Patterns, Shapes and the Art of Mixing

Don’t be fooled by the neutral color palette; the Paris streets were not playing it safe this Fashion Week. Checks met stripes, oversized shapes met fitted pieces, and prints showed up wherever they pleased. Somehow, all those seemingly random combinations just worked.

Forget what’s underneath… This coat was doing all the talking! From oversized silhouettes to dramatic shapes and colors, outerwear became the main event.

Clean and polished doesn’t have to mean boring. This look kept things sleek while throwing in a little personality – a surprising accessory here, an unexpected pattern there. Her style is giving minimalism with a sense of humor.

Get into the Hair Details

The clothes weren’t the only things capturing our attention. Hair became part of the street style statement, from slicked-back looks to colorful braids and tiny details that helped pull everything together.

Statement Blazer

Who needs a boring blazer when you can create a major moment with color? This colorful piece, styled with a belt, was less of a finishing touch and more of the entire reason to stop and look.
