Nicki Minaj has been a core member of the MAGA circle ever since she began publicly aligning herself with Donald Trump at the end of last year. Since then, the self-proclaimed queen of rap has attended and spoken at multiple MAGA events, and now she will serve as a judge on the Trump administration’s version of business competitions like “Shark Tank” and Trump’s former show “The Apprentice.” Let’s talk about it.

In May, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) launched the “Patriot Pitch Competition” to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Independence Day and to encourage small businesses to pitch their companies to the SBA for a prize investment of up to $400,000.

According to the SBA, the businesses will be judged on “strengthening American competitiveness, innovating and demonstrating an outsized impact within an industry, delivering economic opportunity and quality jobs, and showing strong fundamentals and execution readiness,” with a winner to be chosen on Sept. 18. Now, the time is coming for the final competitors to face Nicki in Washington, D.C.

Along with Minaj, the celebrity panel will include entrepreneur and Cardone Capital CEO Grant Cardone, Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, and host Dean Cain, the actor best known for playing Superman in the ’90s series “Lois & Clark.”

The Trump administration hopes Minaj’s presence will generate excitement for the event and highlight the “inspiring stories” of the finalists.

In a news release from the SBA, Administrator Kelly Loeffler stated, “From building globally recognized personal and business brands and multibillion-dollar portfolios to launching innovative wellness solutions and digital platforms, each brings a unique, real‑world perspective on business growth and impact. Their presence will be invaluable in highlighting the unique and inspiring stories of the five finalists competing for $1 million in growth capital, and the importance of Main Street businesses in powering American strength.”

On X, Nicki Minaj has shared her excitement about taking part in the event, writing “This is a major, MAJOR KEY. Sooooooooooo looking forward to this!!! Imagine being a part of the Trump Administration’s initiative to support small businesses. Let’s GO!!!!!!!!!!”

Some Barbz have continued to show support for the “Starships” rapper, commenting, “Doing things to help the REAL WORLD! Love to see it, Queen.”

Another user posted, “Congratulations, Nicki. You so deserve this!!!!!!! And I’m so very proud of you.”

However, former Nicki stans are still expressing their disappointment in the rapper’s alignment with Trump and hoping the “real Nicki” will one day return.

“Oh, girl f— you! WHERE IS THE REAL NICKI?” asked one user.

“What a clown you have become, Nicki. Soon Trump will toss you aside and we will all laugh,” wrote another.

“It’s positively icky to be supporting that slime ball. You must feel like showering constantly,” posted a third user.
