Ms. Pat Drags Judge Judy For Telling Folks Who Are Unhappy With America to Leave
Comedian and actress Ms. Pat is calling out TV star Judge Judy over her recent comments directed at those who are critical of the United States. And what she had to say was one of the realest clapbacks we’ve heard in a while. Let’s break it down.
Recently, Judy sat down for an interview with USA Today, in which she admonished people who are displeased with America. She suggested they find another place to call home and stop trying to change things because she’s had a positive experience living here.
“I have a house, and I have a home. I consider America my home. It’s been good to me. I think that it’s the greatest country in the world. If you don’t like this country, go somewhere else. Don’t come to the greatest country in the world, the most successful country in the world, and say, ‘I want to change it,’” she said. “There are other countries that are the something else that you want. Go there.”

However, Judy’s words didn’t sit right with Ms. Pat, who told TMZ that she can make statements like that because she’s a white woman. Describing the sentiment as “stupid sh*t,” Pat went on to point out that Judy can’t relate to Americans who haven’t experienced the same levels of success.
“From one judge to another, you ought to be ashamed of yourself, Judge Judy. Talking that bullsh*t. You’re rich; you don’t know the struggle of real people. And when you don’t know the struggle of real people, you say stupid sh*t because it don’t affect you…But I guarantee when it affects you, you gon pull them wrinkles back on your face and you gon’ care a little bit more.
Now, in a new interview on SiriusXM’s “The Dean Obeidallah Show” on Wednesday, the “Ms. Pat Settles It” star doubled down on her words and took them a step further.
“I’m a Black woman in this country and it ain’t been as good to me as it has to you,” she explained in part. “So get the f*ck out of my face talking about how this country been good to you. When all of these people’s gas prices [are high] and starving, and people don’t even know what they gonna do. If that trucker strike happens and we ain’t got no food, the rich is gonna be okay. But you know what they want? They gonna want us poor people to eat each other. And I don’t like to be ate on the skin.”
“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin also expressed her viewpoint on Judge Judy’s words, expressing how the words reeked of self-centeredness and questioned how valuable one person’s success was when others around the country continue to struggle.
“What is success if everyone else isn’t successful?” Hostin asked. Judge Judy has yet to respond to either Ms. Pat or Hostin.
