Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns Say ‘I Do’ in a Glamorous Malibu Wedding
Nearly nine months after announcing their engagement, model and entrepreneur Jordyn Woods and NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns tied the knot on Saturday (Aug. 15). From her stunning gown to the elegant Black-tie affair, the wedding was a beautiful celebration of Black love.
According to Page Six, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Malibu, Calif., surrounded by close family and friends, with the Pacific Ocean providing a beautiful backdrop. The star-studded guest list included Thomas’ NBA teammates, longtime friend Kylie Jenner, Michael B. Jordan, Teyana Taylor and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Woods walked down the aisle in a custom Danielle Frankel strapless ball gown crafted from Italian silk wool and finished with intricate ivory lace appliqués. Vogue’s inside look at her final dress fitting had us misty-eyed. Towns kept things classic in a black tuxedo with a double-breasted jacket, crisp white shirt, and matching bow tie.

Woods and Towns are longtime friends. Their relationship blossomed into romance during the COVID-19 pandemic, when they had the time and space to deepen their connection.
“I think it’s kind of cool dating your best friend,” Woods shared on her Instagram series “Regular-ish” in 2021.
The pair announced their engagement on Christmas Day 2025 in a joint Instagram post featuring photos of Towns getting down on one knee at Overstory, a rooftop bar in New York City. Captioned “Marry Christmas,” the post gave fans their first look at Woods’ dazzling emerald-cut engagement ring.
The wedding was just another highlight in what has already been an amazing year for the couple. Woods proudly supported Towns as he and his New York Knicks teammates ended a historic playoff run, winning the team’s first NBA championship since 1973.
Fans across social media raved about Woods and Towns exchanging “I dos.”
