A Look Inside Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell’s Beautiful Wedding Reception!

One year after announcing their engagement, singer Coco Jones and NBA star Donovan Mitchell have officially tied the knot—and their recent wedding reception looked lit! From amazing outfits to all the stars that showed up, it appeared to be a night to remember on all fronts. Let’s get into what we know about the fabulous affair!

While the wedding itself was private, we still were able to get a glimpse of how beautiful the couple looked on their big day thanks to viral video footage of their reception. As shown below, the Mitchells made their grand appearance after the ceremony by walking in and dancing to “Mo Chicken” by rapper BigXThaPlug. Later, they had their official first dance to Musiq Soulchild’s classic song, “Love.”

As far as performances go, the couple decided to bring in popular singer Blxst to sing “Be Alone” while they enjoyed the rest of their evening.

While Jones initially stayed in her floor-length white gown for the first part of the reception, she eventually switched it out for a shorter white dress with floral accents later on in the night. As the evening progressed, she was serenaded by her new hubby, who took the mic and sang Fantasia’s 2006 hit song “When I U” to her while they both laughed and took it all in.

Jones and her bridesmaids also had a cutesy moment for themselves at one point, with them all dancing to Destiny’s Child’s 2004 hit “Girl.”

However, given the subject matter of the song—it’s about a girl’s friend group confronting her about a man who did her dirty—the viral clip (which has since been scrubbed from the internet) had fans up in arms and confused.

But regardless of the chatter happening from folks who weren’t there, as evidenced by the people who were there—it looked like a night full of love and full of our fave celebs.

Some of the famous faces in attendance included Ciara and Russell Wilson (the couple responsible for Jones and Mitchell meeting in the first place), Boston Celtics player Jaylen Brown, New York Knicks stars Jalen Brunson (who’s since become a viral meme) and Josh Hart, Ella Mai, Terrell Grice and more.
